Flourtown Country Club Swim Team

Coach Lizanne has been the head coach at Flourtown Country Club for 22 years.  She joined the staff in 2004 and has been head coach for 18 years. She has also spent 22 years as a SAC coach as well as the head USA swimming coach. She was elected to SAL's Coaching Hall of Fame during the 2011-2012 season. Lizanne swam for William Tennent High School in the 1970’s, was a high school All-American for four years, and still holds a school record in the 400 freestyle relay (look for it at the Odd Age Meet!). She attended Penn State where she swam and obtained an undergraduate degree in engineering. She earned a Master’s degree in Elementary Education at Chestnut Hill College and currently teaches at Ancillae-Assumpta Academy. Lizanne is also an assistant Springfield Township High School swimming coach.
