Hello Shark Families!

We are ON for our Hatboro Meet tomorrow morning!

Swimmers should be on deck and ready to go by 7:45 AM.

The Hatboro Swim Team has provided specific directions for getting to the pool and regarding parking due to construction. PLEASE BE SURE TO REVIEW THE ATTACHED DIRECTIONS AND PARKING INFORMATION.  The pool is NOT accessible via Blair Mill Road and that is the common route for many people.  

Meet Rain Suggestions:  We may experience a little rain during the meet tomorrow! The forecast is just calling for possible showers. As long as there is no thunder or lightning, and we can still see the bottom of the pool, the meet will go on!

What to pack for rain? Bring a tarp, plastic sheet or large trash bags for the swimmers to sit on at their spots.  Pack extra towels or even a blanket to help stay warm and dry.  Feel free to bring pop-up tents or large golf umbrellas to help keep you dry!  

We are the "Home" team for the meet tomorrow so we will be hosting a Snack Bar!  Donuts, coffee, soft pretzels, snacks, drinks and more will be available for purchase!  Cash or Venmo payments will be accepted! 

For anyone still needing to pick up their Tie Dye shirts and/or FCC Latex Swim Caps, they will be available at the Ready Bench.

• Swimmer Sizes - PLEASE RESPOND ASAP!! Each season we collect sizing for each swimmer to help us organize the team store and for the end-of-season gift. Please submit your swimmer's sizes on this Google Form Link as soon as possible. Please remember to submit a response for each swimmer.

• Personalized Silicone Swim Caps ORDER DUE MONDAY - We will be placing a team order for personalized SILICONE swim caps! The cost of each cap is $7.00. You can pay for the caps by Venmo (@FCCSharksSwimTeam) or cash. If paying by Venmo, please write SWIM CAPS in the notes section. The order window will close on Monday, June 29th. It will take approximately 2 weeks for the caps to arrive. If you are interested, click on this LINK to order.***Ordering a personalized cap is completely optional. Each swimmer is provided a latex FCC cap at their first meet.

• Team Suits - Anyone still interested in purchasing a team suit, please respond to this email and I will make arrangements to meet you.

• Coach Denise - Many of our amazing FCC Shark Families have been asking about ways to support Coach Denise. She returned to coaching this morning and shared with me that being with the kids today filled her soul. She got lots of hugs!! We would like to make a collection for Denise to support her during this time. The collection will be used to provide gift cards for her needs and we will also contribute towards a baseball scholarship that will be given to a student in Ian's name at Springfield Township High School. If you are interested in contributing, you can donate via Venmo (@FCCSharksSwimTeam - please write DENISE in the notes section) OR you can bring cash or a gift card to the Ready Bench at any swim meet. We know how wonderful our FCC Sharks Families are and we're grateful for your support during this incredibly hard time for Coach Denise.
