Hello (AGAIN) FCC Shark Families!

It's a quick and BUSY season so there is always a lot to communicate!  I appreciate you understanding that some weeks there is more information to share which means more for you to read!

Thank you for taking the time to read this ENTIRE email and for reviewing the PARENT TO DO LIST found at the bottom of the message.

Even with the incredible heat we had another WIN against Penbryn last week. Let's keep the great swims going!  We have 2 meets this week and Saturday is a HUGE MEET against FSC!  Please refer to Coach Lizanne's email from yesterday (7/5) and update your swimmer's availability ASAP!

Swimmer Sizes - ABSOLUTE LAST CALL FOR SWIMMER SIZES!! Please submit your swimmer's sizes on this Google Form Link as soon as possible. We will have to guess sizes for any missing swimmer. Please remember to submit a response for each swimmer.

UP NEXT: Tomorrow, Tuesday, July 7th is Team Pictures and BINGO NIGHT!

Pictures: Individual (or sibling) swimmer pictures will begin at 5:00 pm.  Picture forms will be available at the pool tomorrow.  Remember our photographer accepts cash or check only. NO VENMO. You can refer to my email from July 1st where I shared the photographer information. 

Feel free to arrive by 4:45 pm to get in line.  The Team Picture is scheduled for 5:30 pm.

Bingo Night: Parents - make a night out of it and plan to relax poolside! We confirmed with the FCC Snack Bar that there will be some dinner and drink specials so you can enjoy an evening on the Veranda!

Swimmers, siblings and family members are all welcome to participate from 6:00 - 7:30 pm! Swimmers do NOT need to be attended by an adult. We will have some parent and coach support at the event.

PLEASE PLAN TO FEED YOUR SWIMMER DINNER PRIOR TO BINGO. Cookies and water will be provided as a treat during Bingo. We will be playing Bingo in the banquet hall, which means NO WET SWIMSUITS. Please be prepared with another outfit. Get ready for some fun and some great, new prizes!!!

Availability for Wednesday's meet against Glenside is due TOMORROW AT NOON. Please remember to arrive at Glenside by 5:15 pm.

Availability for Saturday's meet against FSC is due THURSDAY 7/9 AT NOON. Please remember to arrive at FSC by 7:15 am. PLEASE NOTE: The arrival and start time for the FSC meet is EARLIER than our last Saturday meet.

Parent To Do List:

• FCC Sharks Go to the Movies Thursday 7/16 - Coach Lizanne is giving the team the day off from practices on July 16th, so we are headed to the movies! Come see Disney's Moana Live-Action at the Flourtown Movie Tavern in our very own theater! We will have our own theater with a 11:00 am movie start time. Check out all of the details at this link. PLEASE REGISTER TO GO TO THE MOVIES AT THE LINK - NOT JUST IN SWIMTOPIA.

• Team Suits - Anyone still interested in purchasing a team suit, please respond to this email and I will make arrangements to meet you.

• Coach Denise - Many of our amazing FCC Shark Families have been asking about ways to support Coach Denise. She returned to coaching this morning and shared with me that being with the kids today filled her soul. She got lots of hugs!! We would like to make a collection for Denise to support her during this time. The collection will be used to provide gift cards for her needs and we will also contribute towards a baseball scholarship that will be given to a student in Ian's name at Springfield Township High School. If you are interested in contributing, you can donate via Venmo (@FCCSharksSwimTeam - please write DENISE in the notes section) OR you can bring cash or a gift card to the Ready Bench at any swim meet. We know how wonderful our FCC Sharks Families are and we're grateful for your support during this incredibly hard time for Coach Denise.
