Happy Monday, FCC Shark Families!

What great sportsmanship our FCC swimmers displayed on Saturday at our meet against FSC!! We are so proud of how our swimmers represented themselves and our team!

We've got a PACKED week ahead!  Pancake breakfast, Crestmont Meet and the Sharks go to the Movies all happening!

We have another BIG MEET Wednesday against Crestmont! Please refer to Coach Lizanne's email from yesterday (7/12) and update your swimmer's availability ASAP!

Pancake Breakfast Wednesday 7/15 - We will be hosting our swimmer-favorite pancake breakfast on Wednesday in the Veranda after each practice session ends! We will be serving pancakes with fun toppings, watermelon and juice! There will also be gluten-free and vegan breakfast treats. PLEASE UPDATE YOUR AVAILABILITY for breakfast ASAP. We use these numbers for food quantities. Thank you!

FCC Sharks Go to the Movies Thursday 7/16- COMPLETE THE LINK BELOW TO COME TO THE MOVIES! Coach Lizanne is giving the team the day off from practices on July 16th, so we are headed to the movies! Come see Disney's Moana Live-Action at the Flourtown Movie Tavern in our very own theater! We will have our own theater with a 11:00 am movie start time. Check out all of the details at this LINK. Team Banquet - Our FCC Swim Team Banquet is Tuesday, July 21st! PLEASE ENTER YOUR SWIMMER'S AVAILABILITY IN SWIMTOPIA ASAP. It's such a fun way to celebrate and wrap-up our regular season. For our new families, swimmers arrive wearing nice outfits, not their typical pool attire. Swimmers are invited to arrive at 5:30 pm. The swimmers and coaches will enjoy a meal including chicken fingers, fries, mac and cheese, Caesar salad and a sweet treat! We will have gluten-free and vegan options for dinner as well. Dinner will be from 5:30-6:30 pm. At 6:30 pm, parents will be invited in the banquet hall for the awards portion of the evening. Parents can feel free to socialize and grab some drinks and eats on the Veranda while waiting to be invited into the banquet all. Swimmers can finish the evening by enjoying each other's company or by changing into their suit for an evening swim in the pool!

Parent To Do List:

• Coach Denise - Many of our amazing FCC Shark Families have been asking about ways to support Coach Denise. She returned to coaching this morning and shared with me that being with the kids today filled her soul. She got lots of hugs!! We would like to make a collection for Denise to support her during this time. The collection will be used to provide gift cards for her needs and we will also contribute towards a baseball scholarship that will be given to a student in Ian's name at Springfield Township High School. If you are interested in contributing, you can donate via Venmo (@FCCSharksSwimTeam - please write DENISE in the notes section) OR you can bring cash or a gift card to the Ready Bench at any swim meet. We know how wonderful our FCC Sharks Families are and we're grateful for your support during this incredibly hard time for Coach Denise.
